Cebu Pacific absorbed in March 2014 loss-making carrier Tiger Air Philippines. name of the airline was changed last May into Cebgo with its logo and brand image unified with parent’s company Cebu Pacific.
Now, Cebu Pacific unveils Cebgo new role. The carrier will operate as a regional subsidiary. It will consequently stop using Airb us A320 and instead operate a fleet of all ATR72. Remaining Airbus A320 will be reintegrated into Cebu Pacific fleet while Cebu Pacific last eight ATR will be integrated into Cebgo.
Cebgo opened this year 15 new regional routes and saw last year its passengers traffic growing by 34% to reach 1.3 million. formerly named Tigerair Philippines, in March 2014,
The carrier increased passenger numbers 34% to 1.3 million in its first full year of Cebu ownership, and introduced 10 new routes through May 2015.
