AccorHotels took over earlier this year the management of two properties in Laos historical capital Luang Prabang: The 3 Nagas and Hotel de la Paix, both located in the UNESCO listed city are now being rebranded. The Hotel de la Paix is now being converted into the “Sofitel Luang Prabang”. It is under renovation following UNESCO world heritage standards. It should be operational again by early 2016. .
The luxury mansion was built in the 1900s for the French Governor’s family. It reflects perfectly the cultural heritage of Luang Prabang with its mix of Lao and French architecture. It offers 23 suites that have five metre-high ceiling, private gardens, and plunge pools for.
The second hotel is the 3 Nagas Boutique hotel which is now rebranded as “3 Nagas MGallery by Sofitel”. Located in Luang Prabang’s Old Quarter, the 3 Nagas is housed in 3 restored UNESCO Heritage buildings. The hotel’s 15 rooms blend contemporary style with historic architecture providing travellers with a serene romantic environment. Its restaurant was awarded “Best Lao Restaurant” in Luang Prabang.
