Tink Labs Limited and Singapore Tourism Board Ink MoU to Enhance Visitor Experience in Singapore

The Tink Labs Limited and the Singapore Tourism Board have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to deliver a wide range of destination information and features such as a chat concierge that is the first to be launched in Singapore.  All these will be made available through complimentary handy mobile devices provided for visitors who check in to the more than 22,000 hotel rooms in Singapore.

Tink Labs Limited, a fast-growing technology company, has identified Singapore Tourism Board as an important partner to enhance visitor experience and engagement through its handy mobile device. This collaboration with Tink Labs Limited is the latest in a series of partnerships STB has inked recently with major global digital players such as Kakao and WeChat.

With this partnership, visitors can look forward to exciting and innovative new features and content offered either first in Singapore to handy users or exclusive to the destination, starting from 2017. An inaugural feature first made available in Singapore, is a chat concierge that allows handy users here to have instant access to assistance via a chat service, such as asking for directions, getting food recommendations in the area, booking tickets or making reservations.

Customised content such as tours and walking trails, deals and promotions, will be suggested based on the user’s preferences and location. In addition, content from STB’s website featuring things to do, events and festivals and places to see, will be made available on the device.

Another innovative feature the collaboration will bring is the piloting of creative and immersive experiences such as augmented reality content to bring places of interest to life or re-enact scenes from the past.

Coupled with the unlimited mobile data and talk time offered free with the handy device, visitors can look forward an even more seamless travel experience in Singapore. Tink Labs Limited and STB will jointly roll out marketing efforts to raise the profile of Singapore as a destination to handy users in other cities.
